The Essentials

Are your herbs safe and certified?

Yes, it’s safe when prescribed by a qualified TCM practitioner. We use high-quality herbal powders from manufacturers certified for safety and compliance by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, and each formula is carefully tailored to your condition.

Do acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture generally does not cause significant pain. Most patients feel only a mild tingling or a dull, achy sensation, which is a normal response to the needles. Our TCM practitioners adjust the depth and technique of needling according to your comfort to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible

Do I need to eat before acupuncture / Tuina?

To ensure comfort during your session, we suggest avoiding overeating or coming on an empty stomach. A light meal or snack 1–2 hours beforehand is ideal for a smoother and more comfortable treatment experience

Can I shower immediately after acupuncture or tuina?

It is recommended to wait 1–2 hours after acupuncture or tuina treatment before showering. This helps keep your body warm and supports the effectiveness of the treatment.

Do I need to rest after acupuncture or tuina? Can I exercise?

Yes. It is recommended to rest after acupuncture or tuina to help your body recover and consolidate the effects of the treatment. We do not recommend engaging in strenuous exercise immediately after a session. Proper rest allows your body to adjust and recover more effectively following the treatment.
